Adding a nameserver when your domain is registered through HIS/OpenSRS
We operate four authoritative nameservers to host DNS information for your domain. These nameservers are located in four different cities in order to provide geographic and network diversity; a failure at a data center won't stop DNS lookups for your domain.
Your domain should make use of all four nameservers:
The username and password you need to manage your domain registration were sent to you when you registered the domain. If you don't have this information, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org, and we will resend it to the Administrative Contact's email address.
Once logged in at https://manage.opensrs.net
- Go to Domain locking and unlock the domain
- Go to Name Servers, add ns4.his.com and save the configuration
- Go back to Domain locking and re-lock the domain
- Log out
When finished, the name servers listed for your domain should read:
