How do I access the Plesk Control Panel for my web site?

There are 2 level of access for the Plesk Control Panel, Client and Domain.

1. The Client Control Panel allows an account owner to manage one or more domains.
2. The Domain Control Panel allows a restricted access to manage a single domain.

Your Client Control Panel is located at:

https://your.domain.name.com:8443/

Enter the your client username and the password you've been given with your account setup instructions.

For example, if your domain name is: domain.com:

Your Client Control Panel is accessible at:

https://www.domain.com:8443/

Your Client username/password have been provided in the setup email we sent you when you set up your account.

Important: The control panel is accessible only via a secured connection, if you type http:// instead on https://, you'll see a message saying you don't have access.

You are allowed 3 login attempts before your login access is locked.
After it's been locked, you will be have to wait 5 mn before being allowed to try again.

If your forgot your password, you can use the password reminder to have it sent to your email address.
 

Once you are logged in, your Client Control Panel will open.

Working with your Plesk Control Panel

The Home shortcut opens your Home page (also referred to as the Client Home page), which gives you access to major administrative functions available for your account.

The Sessions shortcut is used for managing currently active user sessions.

The Log out shortcut ends your control panel session.

Pathbar

When you start your Plesk session, a chain of links appears in the right top part of the screen.
These links reflect your actual “location” within your Control Panel. By clicking on the links, you can move to the desired location.

You can also use the Up Level button located at the upper right corner of the screen to go one level up or return to the previous screen.

Help

The Help shortcut located in the navigation pane provides you with context help.
A help page is displayed in a separate window.

Below the Help shortcut is the area displaying a short context help tip. Basically, it provides a brief description of the current screen or operations available. When you hover the mouse pointer over a system element or status icon, it displays the additional information.

Working with Lists

You may have a lot of objects (domains, email names,...) to manage within your control Panel.
In order to facilitate your work with the different lists of objects (for example, Lists of Domains),
you can Search and Sort these items.
