Resetting your Plesk Control Panel / FTP login information

Here is how to reset your Control Panel login information.

Step 1: Use the "Forgot password"

  • Go to the control Panel login page: https://psaXXX.his.com:8443/
(Replace psaXXX with the real name of the server that has been provided to you)
  • Click on the "Forgot Password" link

You will be asked for this information:

  • The control panel admin username OR
  • The control panel admin email address
  • Click on Send.

You will receive an email with a link to reset the Control Panel password at the associated email address within a few minutes.
If have not received it after 1 hour, check your SPAM filters.

Step 2 Login and reset your Control Panel password.
Make a good note of the new password.

Use the new Control Panel password to login to your Control Panel and reset your FTP password if needed:

  • Click on the Web Sites & Domains tab.
  • Click on Web Hosting Access.
  • Enter a new (FTP) password, confirm it and click OK to change it. Do NOT REUSE old passwords.
  • Make a note of the new FTP username /password combination for your record.

We recommend that you adhere to password-security best practices and use a unique, random password of at least 8 characters (15 is better) combining upper and lower-case letters, numbers and punctuation characters.
Do not re-use old passwords, passwords that you use on other accounts or passwords that spell out dictionary words.
