Setting Up IMAP Email in Outlook Office 365 for Mac to connect to your Zimbra mailbox
To complete these steps, you will need to know your email address, password.
1- Open Outlook office 365.
2- In the Outlook menu, select Settings -> Accounts.
3- Click on the + sign to add a new account and enter your email address.
Click on "Select the provider or wain until it says "Sorry could not find a match",
4- In the Choose account type window, select IMAP/POP.
5- Enter the following settings:
Username: Enter the full email address Password: enter the account password Server: Enter zmail.his.com Port: 993 for IMAP Leave "Use SSL to connect" checked. Outgoing Server: Enter zmail.his.com Port: 465 Note: Port 465 with SSL is recommended, however if you are unable to use port 465, the next best option is port 587 using STARTTLS. Leave "Use SSL to connect" checked. Click "Add Account"
6- Enter your mailbox password, then click Connect.
7- Click Done to close.
Your account should now be set up and ready to use.
Outlook Office 365 is now configured to send and receive email through your mailbox.
